Zhu Fenglian, the spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council of China, said on the 25th, Sept. that 27 mainland residents went to Kinmen today to start a free trip, and it is believed that more and more mainland tourists will go to Kinmen. Regarding mainland residents traveling to Matsu, she said that many mainland residents have applied for travel endorsements to Matsu, and the “National Day holiday” will usher in a peak of tourism.
The Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council of mainland China held a regular press conference today, and Zhu Fenglian made the above remarks on the travel situation of mainland residents to Matsu and Kinmen.
Zhu Fenglian pointed out that with regard to mainland residents’ travel to Kinmen, the Xiamen Tourism Association and four tour groups operating tour groups to Taiwan set off from Xiamen Wutong Wharf on 18 August and returned to Xiamen by boat from Kinmen Shuitou Wharf on 20th Sept.
She said that on the 22nd Sept, the “first delegation” of mainland residents to Kinmen arrived in Kinmen through the “mini three links” and was warmly welcomed by the Kinmen county government and the people, adding a new page to cross-strait tourism exchanges and cooperation. Today, 27 mainland residents went to Kinmen for their free travel.
Zhu Fenglian said that she believes that more and more mainland tourists will go to Kinmen, and hopes that they will have a good travel experience in Kinmen, and also hopes that the Taiwan government will proceed from the well-being of the people on both sides of the strait to ensure the smooth progress of cross-strait tourism exchanges and cooperation.
As for mainland residents to travel to Matsu, many mainland residents have applied for travel endorsements to Matsu, and the “National Day holiday” is approaching, and it is believed that there will be a wave of tourism peaks to Matsu.
In addition, the mainland announced the cancellation of zero tariffs on 34 agricultural products to Taiwan, and the Executive Yuan called on China to return to negotiations under the structure and norms of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
Zhu Fenglian claimed that the DPP’s attempt to negotiate relevant issues through the relevant mechanisms of the World Trade Organization is completely an attempt to internationalize the Taiwan issue and harbor ‘Taiwan independence’s evil intentions.
Zhu Fenglian pointed out that the basis of cross-strait consultations is the “consensus of ’92,” not the framework and norms of the World Trade Organization.
She said that the mainland’s previous zero-tariff on 34 agricultural imports from Taiwan was based on the practice of the concept of “one family on both sides of the strait” and the normalization of cross-strait trade.
However, the DPP authorities stubbornly adhere to the “Taiwan independence” stance, constantly carry out “independence” provocations, obstruct cross-strait exchanges and cooperation, and unilaterally restrict the import of more than 1,000 agricultural products from the mainland to Taiwan.

在今天的例行記者會上，朱鳳蓮針對大陸居民赴馬祖和金門的旅遊情況作出了上述回應。她指出，為了促進大陸居民赴金門旅遊，廈門旅遊協會及四家經營赴台旅遊的旅行社組成的考察團於18日從廈門五通碼頭出發，並於20日從金門水頭碼頭返回，這次為期三天的考察為大陸居民前往金門旅遊奠定了良好的基礎。
她還提到，22日，大陸居民的「首發團」經由「小三通」抵達金門，受到了金門縣政府和當地民眾的熱烈歡迎，為兩岸旅遊交流合作增添了新篇章。今天的27名大陸居民自由行金門，顯示出這一趨勢的持續增長。
朱鳳蓮表示，相信前往金門的大陸遊客會越來越多，希望他們在金門能有愉快的旅遊體驗，也希望台灣政府能夠從兩岸民眾的福祉出發，確保兩岸旅遊交流的順利進行。關於大陸居民赴馬祖的旅遊情況，目前已有不少人申請了相關的旅遊簽證，隨著「十一假期」的到來，預計將會出現一波旅遊高峰。
此外，大陸最近宣布取消對台灣34項農產品的零關稅，對此，行政院呼籲中國應在世界貿易組織（WTO）的框架下進行協商。朱鳳蓮則表示，民進黨試圖利用WTO相關機制來討論此事，實際上是想將台灣問題「國際化」，隱含著「台獨」的意圖。
她強調，兩岸協商的基礎應是「九二共識」，而非WTO的框架和規範。朱鳳蓮指出，大陸之前對台灣的34項農產品實行零關稅，是基於「兩岸一家親」的理念，旨在推動兩岸貿易的正常化。然而，民進黨政府堅持「台獨」立場，持續進行挑釁，阻礙兩岸的交流合作，並單方面限制大陸1000多項農產品進口台灣，這才是問題的根源所在。
